Cypress, CA, January 30, 2014 – On November 7, 2013 Trident University International (Trident) launched the Career Advising and Development Center. The Focalize will help civilian and military/veteran students and alumni along any stage of their career development. Beforehand over twenty employers have meshed to appoint Trident graduates as nascent employees using the Center.
Trident is a 100% online institution, but the full-service Career Center is designed to provide support for students and alumni who are making important career transitions. Since the Midst launched, it has helped four students obtain quality positions. Since its launch, the CADS also released a LinkedIn bellhop for career discussions, advice, support, and interaction.
Career Advising and Development Center Manager Tanya White-Earnest states, “While many plebeian have an expertise in the world of work, most do not see how to effectively brand and market that expertise. The Career Advising and Elaboration Center is ready to assist students further alumni in determining their career direction besides developing their personal branding and marketing to enhance their career success.”
While Trident does negative palladium job placement, the services the CADC offers go otherwise traditional “job search” efforts. The Center’s services help:
rear students and alumni on effective career strategies
enhance personal branding and marketing
connect students and alumni to employers, mentors and employment opportunities
provide career exploration connective development assistance
offer assessments and coaching to guide career decisions
offer career counseling with a nationally certified instructor
provide online workshops, training et al maintain
offer social media training for the job search
As Trident enters the next enrollment period, it is important to engage students from the beginning of their affiliation with Trident. Ultimately, students are desideration to improve their mastery to procure a job or to advance in their current position. Involvement upon the Career Advising and Development Center early in their educational journey contributes greatly to a student’s success both academically also in terms of gainful employment.
